Helen & Chris part 2 | A Windsor Wedding

So, the legal bit is done with the most special ceremony at The Guildhall in old Windsor, and it’s time for the big day with all your friends and family in the prettiest of locations.
Bridal prep was a repeat of day 1 with the same hair and makeup look and the same lovely ladies surrounding Helen, except any pre-ceremony nerves had evaporated and the promise of a big celebration kept them all brimming with excitement. What a treat to do Bridal prep all over again!
Instead of travelling to a ceremony location Helen had just a short walk across the grounds to the walled garden where she would have a humanist ceremony with Chris under the Catalpa tree. And yes that was as beautiful as it sounds! When I say every detail of this Wedding was magical I am not lying!
Then it was on a drinks reception where steel drums played and champagne flowed. I headed over the to reception marquee for some detail shots and we then used the walled garden surroundings for group shots. Then it was time to eat and listen to speeches!
The marquee was thick with the sound of everyone catching up over full glasses. Guests helped themselves to a summer buffet and then it was time to listen to speeches, they always tug on my heart strings.
I then walked the grounds with Helen and Chris for some portraits, it was hard to go wrong with a beautiful couple and beautiful surroundings. The rain held off thankfully! An from here the day unravelled with dancing, singing and a lot of drinking! It was perfection.
Grateful for this opportunity to head down South to Windsor to photograph one of my favourite Weddings so far ❤️
