Nicola & Steven | An intimate Wedding at The Lord Crewe Blanchland, Northumberland.

Nicola and Steven reached out to me ahead of their small intimate Wedding at The Lord Crewe Arms in Blanchland looking for someone who could give them just a couple of hours coverage to document this special day as a family. I personally love the smaller close-knit Weddings. They feel so much more special, and it feels even more so a privilege to be there capturing the moment.

Nicola and Steven had been together a few years and had 2 boys, I loved that they could be there with their mum and dad watching them get married. The eldest even wrote a speech to read around the table later on in the day, how precious! It truly was a day for family and I could sense the love and pride in the room that this little family were taking a step forward together.

The Lord Crewe Arms is a hotel venue based in Blanchland, Northumberland. Arriving I felt like I had been put in to a novel, what an absolutely beautiful village. It felt remote, the perfect spot for a small Wedding. We dodged the rain throughout my time with them and managed to make the most of the beautiful grounds in the venue, and used the window light for some darker portraits.
