The Perfect Start to a Wedding Morning

Lauren and Zoe had a wonderfully unique approach to their day. They decided to share every moment together, from getting ready in the morning to walking down the aisle as a pair. This decision set the tone for an unforgettable celebration of love.

The day began in a sunlit salon near their home, where Lauren and Zoe, along with their bridal party, enjoyed a some bubbles while having their hair and makeup done by the talented Craig Bolam Hair and Alice Armstrong MUA. The golden morning light streaming through the salon windows added an extra touch of joy to the atmosphere.

Back at home, excitement filled the air as the bridal party got dressed and shared a few last laughs before heading to Healey Barn.

After a beautiful ceremony, we stepped into the courtyard for the classic confetti shot. Despite a brief rain shower, the weather cleared just in time for outdoor group photos and romantic portraits of the happy couple against Healey Barn’s breathtaking countryside backdrop.

The reception was a feast for the senses, with Lauren and Zoe’s personal touches adding warmth and charm to the space. Their guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, and the main course was one of the most memorable I’ve had as a Northumberland wedding photographer!

The speeches brought laughter and tears, making the wedding breakfast truly unforgettable.

As day turned to night, the celebrations continued with lively dancing, DIY pizza making, and a dazzling sparkler send-off. The joy and energy of the evening were infectious, and I couldn’t help but smile as I captured every precious moment.
