Now what?

You’ve received your gallery, and you’ve loved every minute reliving your dream day with your partner. It’s a lovely bubble to be in!

Below is a little guide to help you make the most of your photos, and some ideas for what you might like to do next…

A few tips for getting the most from your gallery…

Opt to use the high-resolution images. Your gallery includes high-resolution images designed to print beautifully and display at their best. While screenshots are convenient, they can reduce image quality, so I recommend downloading the original files whenever possible.

Understanding your image licence. Your contract includes usage rights for personal use of the images, but not for commercial use. If you’d like to discuss commercial usage please get in touch. You can find more details about your image rights in a section below.

Send suppliers my way. If one of your suppliers requests images, feel free to point them in my direction. I'm always happy to share the appropriate files and explain the usage terms directly.

Keeping your gallery looking its best. Your images have been carefully edited in my signature style to create a consistent look across your gallery. Additional filters, presets or edits can alter colours and tones in ways that weren't intended, so I recommend enjoying the images as delivered.

A couple, a woman and a man, are embracing and about to kiss outdoors during sunset. The woman has long, curly blonde hair decorated with flowers and is wearing a lace dress. The man has short hair and is dressed in a dark suit. They are standing close near a body of water with trees in the background, and the sun is setting behind them, creating a warm glow.

How to use your online gallery

Website navigation menu with links to Gallery, Preview Gallery, Full Gallery, Shop, and icons for search, download, favorites, clipboard, and shopping cart.

When you click through to your gallery via your email you’ll be greeted with a cover page. Scroll down from here, and you’ll notice a header tab, just like the image below. This is where you’ll navigate to the different sections of your gallery, as well as your shop and some other tools.

Each individual image can be favourited, downloaded and shared when you hover over the image or click to open the image. You’ll be able to access all of your favourited images via the heart icon on the toolbar pictured above.

You can also download the gallery in full, search for key moments and people, or forward images using the icons on the toolbar.

If you have purchased an album with me directly I would highly suggest using the heart icon to select your image choices for your wedding album. You can then review your selection when you click into your favourites.

You can visit the gallery shop by navigating to it on the toolbar. Here you can find a number of print products, and you might get a cheeky discount on your first wedding anniversary too…

Please, please, please download your full gallery and store it in multiple places. Your online gallery will be live for 1 year only. I’d suggest 2 copies in 2 different places.

Your image rights…

As outlined in your contract, I retain the copyright to your images, while you receive a personal-use licence to enjoy and share them. This means you're welcome to share your photos with friends and family, post them on social media, display them in your home, and create albums or prints for personal use.

If you'd like to use any of the images for commercial purposes or in connection with financial gain, please get in touch with me first so we can discuss the appropriate licensing.

I'll share your gallery directly with the suppliers listed for your wedding and explain the usage rights that apply to them.

If any additional suppliers contact you requesting images, I'd be grateful if you could point them in my direction. I'm always happy to provide the correct files and discuss image usage with them directly to ensure everything is covered appropriately.

Give the gift of photos…

Some of the best gifts are the ones that bring memories flooding back.

From thank you cards and Christmas presents to framed prints and heirloom albums for parents and grandparents, your gallery is full of opportunities to share a little piece of your wedding day with the people you love.

Whenever you're ready, your gallery store is there to help, and you'll also receive a discount code to use on your first wedding anniversary.

Show your vendors some love!

If you loved working with your wedding suppliers, one of the most meaningful ways to thank them is with a kind review.

For small businesses, reviews are incredibly valuable. They help future couples make informed decisions, and they mean the world to those of us who pour our hearts into what we do. If a supplier helped make your day special, sharing your experience can have a real impact.

Of course, if you'd like to go a step further, a handwritten thank you card is always appreciated and never goes unnoticed.

And lastly…

I’d really love to see you again for a mini session in the future.

Mini sessions are a nice, relaxed way to capture little moments as life changes—whether that’s a one-year anniversary, getting the whole family together for some updated photos, joining one of my Christmas minis, or welcoming a new baby with cosy at-home images.

If you ever fancy it, I also offer gift vouchers. They can be a simple, thoughtful way for friends or family to enjoy a photography session of their own—just let me know if you’d like any details.

Thank you so much for having me as a part of your journey, and for being a part of mine. This is a wonderful job, and my couples are what makes it so special.
