Photographing a Wedding at Black Horse Beamish

This was my first time photographing a ceremony and reception at Black Horse Beamish, and I love it! We were deep into Spring and cherry blossom season, and sun really did shine for Kirsty & Ryan.

If you’re south of the River Tyne and looking for a wedding venue in Beamish then this traditional and rustic pub venue is a real gem in my eyes. There’s plenty of accommodation, beautiful space for both small and big weddings and simply stunning exteriors to make use of for your photos. It’s really perfect for a paired-back day with an intimate feel.

Kirsty looked sensational in her strapless dress, and Ryan looked the part in his mod-era suit. Everything came together beautifully and reflected them as a couple in the most authentic way. Even the way that they honoured Kirsty’s late mum felt so intimate.
