Secret Tower Wedding Venue in Newcastle upon Tyne

What a chic location this is!

Viral for its bright white ceremony room, The Secret Tower isn’t actually that secret. But if you walked past it you wouldn’t know it was a wedding venue. It overlooks the River Tyne, boasting views of the Tyne Bridge and The Glasshouse. This historic and unique venue is a great blank canvas for all types of weddings, and its central location makes it easy to get to.

Lorna chose to get ready at Hotel Du Vin, just up the river from The Secret Tower. This hotel is so gorgeous for bridal prep, with beautiful light to work with and more unreal city views. They make a great pair of venues for those celebrating being in Newcastle Upon Tyne!

Lorna and Dan had got married legally earlier that same week, so they had a friend hold their ceremony on this day. It was a lovely celebration of them as a couple, and having a friend host this made it a real personal moment. The weather was gloomy with some rain, but it just made the cityscape look even cooler with the muted tones and reflections. We dodged the rain for portraits outside on the cobbled streets, and with the bridge view.

It’s the same room used for the ceremony and reception, but the team at The Secret Tower have got their turnaround time so slick you’d never feel like it got in the way of your timeline. This is a beautiful space which I don’t think will date, and that’s really important to me.

If you’re planning a Newcastle city wedding and are considering the Secret Tower as your venue, please do get in touch! I’d love to chat. You can find my packages here and my contact page here.
