A Stylish Wedding Day at Wylam Brewery
Here we go, my favourite venue in the whole of the North East, Wylam Brewery!
This place stands out to me as a place with heart and personality. It’s an iconic building which most of us pass at some point, it’s a landmark. I love the industrial character the venue has and the dramatic architecture. Inside the light and colours work so well together, meaning you always get a good photo. And that Great Hall is epic. Getting married, dining and partying under the dome feels different at every point. It’s no wonder its called The Palace!
Katie and George chose to have their day there and we had the best time! I started the day in the morning with George and his party whilst they waited for guests to arrive. Usually I am with the bride, but Katie wanted this part to be photographed. It was really fun to be a part of this side of the wedding, I loved it!
Katie arrived in her VW van looking amazing. She walked down the aisle with dad and it was a really emotional moment. The day ran so smoothly and we managed to get out for lots of photos using the building and the lake as backdrops. The room was so beautifully decorated with personal details from Katie and George and stunning flowers. Each guest got a handwritten note, people were really touched by this. How thoughful!
It was hard to leave when the time came, as the dance floor was really bouncing! And that’s one of my favourite bits. What a day!
