A Relaxed Wedding Day at Shotton Grange
So here’s the low down on Lizzie & Rob’s relaxed and laid-back Spring wedding day at Shotton Grange in Northumberland.
The morning started in the beautiful bridal suite of Shotton Grange. I love this room for wedding mornings. There is plenty of space for photographing wedding details, and the decor is so chic and sophisticated. Lizzie’s dress looked spectacular hanging in the long window!
Lizzie had her curated playlist on whilst having her hair done, and her bridesmaids did their own makeup. It was giving the most wholesome girly vibes! Rob was downstairs with his groomsmen greeting guests at the bar, looking very sharp.
I adored the pops of colour that Lizzie chose for the bridesmaids dresses and also for the amazing flowers. They really stood out against the muted tones of a grey March day.
They married surrounded by their loved ones and disco balls, and then made their way outside of the main house for colourful confetti, followed by group shots and some couple photos on the long stretch of lawn Shotton Grange has to offer. I love the view of the venue from this angle!
Speeches took place before dinner, and Lizzie made one too, and she gifted Rob with a cake to mark not just their weding day but also the newcastle match he missed by being there!
They they all danced the night away, to a lot of Abba!
