Cast your mind back to last spring. Yes, it might feel like a lifetime ago—especially with the freezing weather we’ve been enduring lately! But back then, the sun was shining, the trees were lush and green, and it was the perfect day for a wedding.
Ashleigh & George chose to tie the knot at the stunning Treehouses at Ramside Hall, a hidden gem for small and intimate weddings. A Beautiful Beginning
Ashleigh spent the morning getting ready with her mum and close family, surrounded by laughter and excitement. The atmosphere was relaxed, with birds singing outside on the balcony and golden light streaming into the treehouse—a dream setting for any North East photographer. The attention to detail in the décor made every background effortlessly elegant, and Ashleigh looked absolutely breathtaking in the soft glow of the morning light.
Saying "I Do" in the Golden Hour
The ceremony was nothing short of magical. Ashleigh & George exchanged vows in the treehouse’s beautifully designed ceremony space, bathed in a warm golden glow. Their closest family and friends looked on with love in their eyes, making the moment even more emotional. As a Newcastle wedding photographer, it’s these genuine, heartfelt moments that I love capturing the most.
Celebrating with Loved Ones
After the ceremony, we took some relaxed group portraits before capturing some stunning couple shots in the picturesque surroundings of Ramside Hall. The evening continued with an intimate sit-down meal (which I was so kindly invited to enjoy!) before more guests arrived for a night of dancing, laughter, and incredible food.

Sharing in such a close-knit celebration and documenting the day as part of a select few is an experience I’ll never take for granted.
