Photographing a Wedding at Hexham House and The Beaumont Hotel

I have been to Hexham a couple of times for weddings now and I am always so pleasantly surprised by what this place. Hexham is a vibrant little market town with incredible buildings and a really warm atmosphere. It’s classy, without feeling stuffy, and feels quite remote. It’s a perfect place for an intimate wedding day.

Kirsty & Adam chose to get married in the beautiful Hexham House at Hexham. The building is gorgeous and the gardens are usually adorned with flowers, and a great view of Hexham Abbey. There is accommodation above the registry office, which is where Kirsty and Adam got ready. The space is bright and modern with some lovely ornate features. I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Bridal preparations her. Don’t Kirsty and her bridesmaid look stunning!

The ceremony took place in the Garden Room, where double doors opened up on to the sunny gardens, and Kirsty and Adam made vows and exchanged rings. Then room looked on with smiles on their faces.

From there we moved on to the lawn for group shots and some mingling, before making our way through Hexham park to The Beaumont Hotel. But not before stopping half way for some confetti!

The Beaumont Hotel looked stunning dressed for the wedding reception. Guests enjoyed a drinks reception and canapes whilst the couple did their rounds to see everyone.

Then we had speeches, so heartfelt and so full of love for the couple. Nods to Kirsty’s late mum were made throughout the day, but hearing her mentioned in a speech pulled on the heart strings. Kirsty and Adam gave a speech together, and then it was time for eating.

Post-dinner, we made our way back to Hexham House gardens for some more photos of the two of them. Before heading back for a dress change and night of dancing!
