A Newcastle Civic Centre Wedding in the Heart of the City
Now this one will give you all of the city vibes…
Lauren & Lee planned their wedding day to take place at Newcastle Civic Centre and The Crowne Plaza in Newcastle, both city central locations giving modern day cool vibes.
I started at the ceremony where I grabbed a few photos of Lee as he waited for their guests arrival, before Lauren arrived with her girls looking so chic. I loved her updo and the cowl neck dress together, she looked so pretty.
Lauren walked down the aisle with her dad, and Lee looked on in awe at his beautiful Bride. Tears were shed! They exchanged vows and rings and before they knew it they were married. Yay!
We used the beautiful building for a backdrop to confetti and group shots, before getting some photos of Lauren & Lee inside and outside. I LOVE this building, it is like no where else in the city. It has such history and is loved by so many Geordies. It’s become a staple place to marry and I can really see why. The photos you can get are simply amazing! Who would have thought I could love a red carpet!
We then made our way to The Crowne Plaza for a quiet and relaxed drinks reception with just their losest family and friends who attended the ceremony. We also used the modern and contemprary backdrops available in the hotel for some more portraits. I absolutely love th eimages next to the window which overlooks central station. An iconic view and it screams Newcastle.
Before we knew it it was time for their evening reception with a wider group of family and friends. The reception was dark with mood lights, perfect for a big party. Some bried speeches were had before dancing the night away!
