A North Shields Registry Office Wedding in North Tyneside, and a reception at Crusoes in Tynemouth

I love a wedding which celebrates the couples local area. In this case, my beloved North Tyneside!

Lauren & Craig planned a relaxed wedding day with a late afternoon ceremony at North Shields Registry Office and a reception at Crusoes in Tynemouth. They wanted a day that was all about family and friends, celebrating their two little ones and all the people in their lives that they hold dear.

Lauren looked sensational when she arrived at the registry office, and it is safe to say that everyone looked on in awe at Lauren making her way down the aisle with her dad. Even a tear was shed by Craig! I love photographing weddings in th Tyne View room. The views really are gorgeous, and the interiors feel grand and timeless.

The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, and we then made our way on to the terrace for confetti and group shots, and a couple of portraits of Lauren & Craig. It was a grey day, but secretly these are my favourite, as the light is so pretty!

The plan was then to meet Lauren and Craig for some portraits on the beach as they made their way across Longsands beach to Crusoes. I can’t thank Lauren and Craig enough for their dedication to a good photo on the day! They were so up for anything I suggested, and they appreciated the effort it took for getting great photos. We didn’t spend too long, but we utilised the boardwalk and the beach itself. They look so gorgeous, I am obsessed with how the photos turned out! I feel like the contrast between the beach and their black tie outfits works so well, and don’t they just look so good together?

They met guests in Crusoes and enjoyed drinks and sweet treats whilst the amazing Rebecca Diamond provided a beautiful atmosphere with her singing. The venue made for a lovely relaxed environment with the sea view and coastal location, and photographing it was really fun!

After speeches and food we headed back out for some sparklers and some more casual photos of Lauren & Craig, despite being quite tipst they smashed it again! I actually love getting back out in the evening with my couples, the vibe is so different and much more relaxed. How unreal is the photo of Craig lifting Lauren?! So romantic!
